TCP: My Superman
It's a bird, it's an airplane.....no, it's SUPERMAN... i love you superman, man, man....these lines where everywhere when I was growing up..and extraordinary activities we did when we're tots were linked to superman, he was our everyday hero and a household name we grew up with. Our developmental stages would never be the same without our heroes.

A-1-A-2-A-3, go, go, goo..aaaaaa.
Aha…what’s this, a cheering squad for my exercise. My husband has been nagging me to develop a regular habit of exercise. My own version of exercise is maybe just like some of you, it’s still a----A-1-A-2-A-3-A-4 but it’s only my fingers that move and this one makes my husband crazy, hehhehe for now, I think. Anyways, I know my whole persona could benefit from one, but my neurons are not really wired for exercise. I work hard at the house chores, but not the stretching-bending-pushing- mind-boggling-twist and turn type of moves done by athletic people. Exercise is my Achilles tendon, sorry guys. But, uhhmm, I tried some form of moves that fits me, say:
Too many people confine their exercise to jumping to conclusions, running off at the mouth, stretching the truth, bending over backwards, lying down on the job, side stepping responsibility, swimming against the current and pushing their luck. - Source Unknown
Love this exercise moves…hehhehe, sorry guys, am just the way I am.
TCP: Chicken Run
Year 2000, and this movie was let out from the pen. The world was never the same again. Funny, hilarious with a lesson twist. We learn from the world of animals too. You'll watch this movie over and over again. It's a parody of the Great Escape...hehhehe. Would life be better outside the pen? Mel Gibson as the Rhode Island Red, Julia Sawalha,as Ginger, the orange-coloured hen and Miranda Richardson as Mrs. Tweddy, the sadistic owner of the farm. Move over gentlemen...

My mom's paintings
My mom's an artist. She has been painting since I was a toddler. This is her past-time and we enjoyed splattering paints all over the place when we were small. She is 72 years old now and her last painting exhibit was last year, at Mountain View College Philippines. We love her work and these were sold locally and abroad. I hope you will enjoy how we enjoyed her work. She's going to be painting 'til her old age, am sure of that.

Knock...knock!!!
The Filipino “komiks” industry began with sheer luck... or by accident. You must remember that accidents are just unplanned that could be fortunate or otherwise. Antonio “Tony” Velasquez was just at the right time and at the right place. In the late 1920s, Tony was working as a subordinate artist for the ‘photoengraving’ section of Liwayway magazine. The writer Romualdo Ramos had a great idea of writing for a comic strip. Since the chief artist for Liwayway then had a congested work schedule, the task of drawing fell to Tony’s lap and the rest is the history of Kenkoy.
Kenkoy was, and in a lot of cases, still is a Pinoy icon. The weekly comic strip Mga Kalbalan ni Kenkoy (Kenkoy’s antics) proved to be so popular that it was translated to several regional languages, generated comic spin-offs of minor characters, and raked in cash for a then burgeoning film industry. Kenkoy with his slick hair, ‘plantsado(starched) pants’ and hilarious antics has endeared himself to the Filipino consciousness. We visited the Children's Museum recently and i had the chance to have a pose with this Filipino Comic Icon who made our life a little enjoyable most of the times.
Pasttime ..my favorite?
I represent this woman in the picture. I just love book reading as past-time plus the excitement of scouring books good books during book-sales pumps my adrenaline. This pastime is now adopted by the whole family, and the bunch of us are seen in bookstores scouring for the best book in town. It becomes a contest mania for any member of the family who can find the best buy. We swap books in the family. Me and my hubby try to read books our children buy and they try to ask us what's the fuss with the books we are reading. Read on...the adventure is enormous...we cry, we laugh, we learn new and exciting things, we compare notes and learn from each other. Read on friends...and let's go for another adventure!!!!!

Thankful Thursday
In all our ways we have to acknowledge God. Thank you Lord for the life of good health, for all the good laughs that i had with friends, for all the beautiful quotations shared, for jokes that would send us somersaulting now and then, for the beautiful sunshine and rain, for the fresh air and a child's laughter in the early hour of the day, these things remind me that I am alive today and should be thankful for. God bless everyone.

Farenheit 9/11
One of the most controversial and provocative films of the year, Fahrenheit 9/11 is Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore's searing examination of the Bush administration's actions in the wake of the tragic events of 9/11. With his characteristic humor and dogged commitment to uncovering the facts, Moore considers the presidency of George W. Bush and where it has led us. He looks at how - and why - Bush and his inner circle avoided pursuing the Saudi connection to 9/11, despite the fact that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis and Saudi money had funded Al Qaeda. Fahrenheit 9/11 shows us a nation kept in constant fear by FBI alerts and lulled into accepting a piece of legislation, the USA Patriot Act, that infringes on basic civil rights. It is in this atmosphere of confusion, suspicion and dread that the Bush Administration makes its headlong rush towards war in Iraq - and Fahrenheit 9/11 takes us inside that war to tell the stories we haven't heard, illustrating the awful human cost to U.S. soldiers and their families.
